Beginning At The Sunset

(In above pic I have tried to draw sunset, boat in the river and that sketch of sun indicates 'the beginning'.)
In routine life everyone complains about something according to their standard of living, it is natural because it is human tendency. But when we see out of the frame of our own life, we find many touching things around us. After watching such things we can't stop twister of thoughts in our mind. I was also facing such situation. I want to just share this with you.
We were returning from our trek in one of the mountain in Sahyadri, India. To reach the city there was the only option & that was by crossing the river. We were traveling in a small boat. That journey was of 40 to 45 minutes. Some of us were chitchatting about our two days trek, some were capturing photos of sunset & remaining buddies were waiting for the city. Another boat was following us. We heard some miserable sounds from that boat. All of us were trying to know about that. We came to know, there was a pregnant lady weeping with pains in that boat. Some Ladies were putting cloths like bed-sheets around her. After some time we heard newly born baby's sound. Some persons from that boat were asking us for scissor or knife like equipment to cut the cord of that mother. Many of us used to carry such things in trekking kit. We gave them. That boat was not so close to us that we can give it hand to hand. So, that was also a big challenge of 'to throw and catch'.  After losing 3-4 tools, we succeed in that. After few minutes they were thanking us and were telling that everything is alright now.
Everyone was amazed by that incident. We were discussing with our boat-man, he was also belongs to the same village. He was telling that there was not any hospital in that village. Crossing the river is the only way to the city and obliviously for the hospital.

I think, in front of such serious issue; our routine problems like ,irregular maid or few minutes electricity off or daily debate in relationships because of ego or minor troubles in household things such as TV, washing machine, mixer, fridge or microwave' are not that much big.

  1. Very true. We're so engrossed in our own small problems that we make them way bigger than they really are. But when we encounter people living such painful and miserable life, our problems suddenly become too small to worry about.
